This year's campaign also coincides with the yahrtzeit of our zaidy, R' Mordechai Yitzchak z"l. The years may pass, but his warmth, his faith, and his unmistakable presence are felt by all of us, every single day.

That was Zaidy. And that is what we strive to live.

BMY is home to avreichim from across the globe: USA (East Coast, West Coast, Midwest), Canada, England, Russia, South Africa, Australia, Chile, and more.
A span of nearly 25 years separates our youngest and oldest learners, newlyweds through grandfathers, each one drawn by the same desire: serious, consistent Torah learning.
Our avreichim include professionals, programmers, therapists, teachers, sofrim — men who balance responsible lives with a deep commitment to growth in Torah.

Though they receive a modest stipend, their excitement, passion, and drive for learning are unmatched. BMY is a unique kollel, where avreichim can learn, work, and progress through a rigorous semicha program, all within a warm and uplifting community atmosphere.
